Pringle Creek Community is a-blaze with color right now! Each fall the maples along our perviously-paved streets turn a brilliant red.
Fall brings a gorgeous, colorful shift to the landscape as the days get cooler and shorter. The colors and cooler days make walking through the property extra enjoyable! It is always such a joy to witness the change of the seasons here at Pringle Creek Community! Come out and experience it for yourself!
We're going to celebrate the harvest and feature the fruits of everyone's labor. We're really excited to re-unite with Urban Farmers who've taken the Urban Farming class with us, to hear all about gardening successes and failures, and share kitchen creations made with gardening goodies: pies, veggie casseroles, salads
We were given an apple press and we've saved some apples and pears to crush - bring apples for pressing and juice containers. We'll make juice to drink, and share whatever we have in excess.
RSVP, please, so that we know to expect you.
We have three runner ducks who live happily alongside our many chickens here at Pringle Creek Community. The hen (& duck) house and run is located adjacent to our renovated glasshouses and community gardens. Local gardening kids named the ducks this spring soon after they arrived. Their names are Ash, Graham, and Marble.
Residents and CSA members benefit from the fresh, organic eggs the chickens and ducks provide. The gardens benefit, too, since the Lay-dees love to eat garden waste and their waste is GREAT for our compost!

Ladybugs are very beneficial not just for aphid control but for many other insects including scale, mites, and whiteflies to name a few. Insects as pest control are ...
