A Neighborly Gift of Trees

Pringle Creek Community is an unexpected pocket of serenity in south Salem where visitors and residents like to take time during their day for a walk.  Colleen, our Urban Farmer, always smiles and waves to those who come near to the glasshouses.  Some folks stop and chat, getting to know Colleen a bit better, discussing her work and the goings on around the gardens and orchards. What is 'sustainability,' really?   Although it is a term that has gotten a lot of use, some would say over use, it is important to be clear about intention. Hatch Chilis on the Way!

Have you ever heard of or tasted Hatch Chilis - chilis grown in Hatch, New Mexico?  People from all over the country who love spicy food, especially folks who've visited or lived in or near New Mexico, are crazy about them, especially when they're roasted.
