What does it mean to have a perfect home anyway? Well, some might say that custom building is about as close as you can come to getting your perfect home. Other times, you might be walking down the street, minding your own business, when you stumble upon the most charming cottage you’ve ever laid eyes on. Yes, searching for a home feels a little like trying to find that special someone you’d like to wake up to every morning. Because, to be honest, your home is where you spend a lot of time, and you want to feel as comfortable as you do when you gather with family during the holidays or are visiting friends for game night (okay, we won’t judge you on this one for playing Cards Against Humanity).
But how do you get that perfect home? How do you achieve the seemingly unattainable? First thing’s first, know thyself. For real, you’ve got to do some self exploration. For starters, does a 3-level home sound gorgeous with it’s layers of possibilities or does a 1-level home seem more your style, because there’s not as many stairs involved? Are you in a phase of life where decluttering is your priority (be it an empty-nest or getting rid of your stuff you’ve had since college…like that futon that somehow keeps following you around…)? Are you thinking open layouts with some cozy little nooks to read a book with your cat on your lap (or catch-up on Instagram to see if your friend really did get another Pygmy goat).
At Pringle Creek Community, we’ve got options to inspire you. We also are in the process of building a Net Zero home that’s a 2-level and approximately 2,100 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. If that doesn’t sound like your cup of tea, we have many other avenues to explore along with resident amenities including a community center and garden plots on the urban farm. The area right outside your door is an extension of not only your home, it’s an extension of yourself. If you’d like to express yourself through starting a kickboxing club (we’ve got yoga) or growing the best gosh darn tomatoes this side of the Willamette (our Urban Farmer will cheer you on), then you’ll find it here. Stop on by, and we’d be glad to give you a tour and show you what living in an agrihood is like, a wonderful urban oasis.
