We encourage growing local and organic food while strengthening community through shared knowledge of gardening practices and volunteerism. Urban Farming workshops are offered through the Sustainable Living Center. Our wonderful volunteers help support the greenhouse in so many ways including watering, weeding, ...

Earth Day celebrations first took place in 1970, by two thousand colleges and universities, roughly ten thousand primary and secondary schools, and hundreds of communities across the United States. Our newest community members have just broken ground on their new net zero home! We are all very excited to see the construction begin on this beautiful and energy efficient house.
