Classic Films at an Historic Theater

Our community center, Painters Hall, is the main hub of Pringle Creek Community (PCC) life where community members gather for yoga, movie night, walking group, family, and celebratory events. Earth 411 Event a Big Success!

We had a great time and a lot of success meeting and greeting people this past Saturday at the Earth 411 event at Riverfront Park, an early Earth Day event put on by the City of Salem and Straub Environmental Center.  Kerry helped plan the event and acted as main stage coordinator while Sue Wilson, Kristen Duus, Lisa & Jonathan Schachter, and Jane Poznar all helped staff our Pringle Creek Community and Sustainable Living Center table.  We gave away over 200 plant starts, 100 cards with flower seeds, brochures and Walking Tours.  We made a lot of new relationships, ... New Artist at Painters Hall

We are thrilled to announce that we are showcasing a new artist at Painters Hall. Daniel Berman is a talented local photographer who specializes in landscape photography. His photographs have been displayed in the Smithsonian museum and recognized by the National Park Foundation for their excellence.  He has won numerous awards around the country and is a vendor at art shows throughout Oregon. Recent events at Pringle Creek were great success

Thanks everyone who helped with last week’s events! Eric Corey Freed’s presentation was both entertaining (he has a hilarious and sarcastic sense of humor) and chilling (we were floored by the scientific evidence of human impact on the world). Thanks to the Salem Chapter of the AIA!The workshop put on by the Natural Step was in-depth and very sophisticated.
