Meet Iyad and Carol

Meet Iyad and Carol. Hailing from the Midwest, they were looking to live somewhere with better weather that was closer to the ocean. A place where they could take off to do more outdoor recreational activities, take in a show at the theater, taste some fine wine, and even participate in some environmental stewardship. They were wanting a home that looked out into the trees, like their home in Ohio did, and to live where there is more open space. With over 12 acres of shared green space, there's room to stretch out and take a walk about the ... Read more

Steady Growth

Pringle Creek Community is giving a warm welcome to new residents this winter. Steady growth is happening with three new homes built by Spectra Construction almost near completion, and we are looking forward to welcoming three new families into our community who hail from the Southwest and Oregon! Helping the Chicken to Cross the Road

The chicken harness has arrived!  Now Colleen can safely take a chicken out of the coop and give her an opportunity to go for a walk.                   It really is just another bit of fun over at the glasshouses.  Colleen always has something fun or whimsical going on over there - from her little garden fairy houses to the butterfly houses, both created by her father, and now the chicken harness.  Colleen is always happy to share all that she is doing with visitors.  Besides all of the various vegetables that she is growing for the CSA (community supported agriculture) ... A Neighborly Gift of Trees

Pringle Creek Community is an unexpected pocket of serenity in south Salem where visitors and residents like to take time during their day for a walk.  Colleen, our Urban Farmer, always smiles and waves to those who come near to the glasshouses.  Some folks stop and chat, getting to know Colleen a bit better, discussing her work and the goings on around the gardens and orchards. One visitor is Dave Hunt who regularly walks his dog, Luna, around the Pringle Creek Community property.  He and Luna are very friendly. Luna is an exuberant 2 year old mix who is always wiggly ... Pringle Creek Community Welcomes Pet Owners & Dog Walkers

Pet ownership is a joy and part of life that we embrace at Pringle Creek Community.  Many of our residents have a dog or a cat (or three) that live peacefully at home and meet occasionally outside. People from the surrounding area also visit the property to walk for exercise and sometimes they bring their dog - always using a leash.           Alongside dogs and walkers, we enjoy the wildlife, such as wild turkeys and blue heron,  that regularly visits us.  When dogs are kept on leash they can't harass our furry and feathered guests, ensuring that the wildlife ...
