Sustainable Holiday Market

The Sustainable Living Center(SLC) is a non-profit that functions out of Pringle Creek Community. It raises awareness through environmental education, demonstrates different ways people can choose more environmentally-friendly practices, and activates this through many fun activities and events throughout the year. Foraging Fair

The Sustainable Living Center (SLC) is gearing up for the Foraging Fair that's happening on September 30th, from 1 - 4:00pm, at Painters Hall. Brilliant organizations like the Arctos School and Straub Environmental Center will be joining along with other organizations that also champion sustainability, so stay tuned. Willamette Wakeup

Our expert Urban Farmer, Colleen Owen, is spreading her knowledge on how to garden in an urban environment on KMUZ's Willamette Wakeup. Colleen talks about succession planting, crop rotating, deep feeder plants vs. shallow feeder ones, how to grow in a shady environment, and more. Agrihood

We are building a community rooted in nature and innovation. With that, comes a strong relationship with growing healthy food making us a flourishing agrihood. Over a third of our community is dedicated green space, and our urban farm is part of it. We have orchards, blueberry patches, and a whole lot more when it comes to wanting to commune with nature. Our glasshouses provide a place for winter gardening and some wonderful produce for a majority of the year.
