Pringle Creek Community rests right in the middle of the Willamette Valley – right in the very center of Oregon’s award-winning wine country! This presents many opportunities to experience a wide variety of delicious, varied, varietals of wine.
The Willamette Valley is an internationally recognized wine growing region. It’s cool climate and various soil types allows production of many varietals like Pinot Gris, Reisling, Chardonnay, and especially, most notably, Pinot Noir. Oregon’s vintners produce award winning wines and the Willamette Valley’s vintners are proud recipients of many wine awards. The Oregon Wine Awards, with a tasting panel composed of master sommeliers, professors of viticulture and Enology, wine journalists and wine sellers, named a number of Willamette Valley vintners among their awardees in 2015. Some of the winners are located close to Pringle Creek Community, within 6 to 30 miles from our door! In 2015, Left Coast Cellars won Double Gold for their 2013 Pinot Noir and gold for their 2014 Pinot Gris, Willamette Valley Vineyard won Gold for their 2013 Pinto Gris, and Airlie Vineyards won gold for their 2012 Pinot Noir and gold for their 2012 Reisling. These three vineyards are just a few of the many wine producers who live nearby in the Willamette Valley AVA (American Viticultural Area).
